For its 37th year of running, Tverstol along with 12 other student spellers competed in a total of 13 rounds involving words like “evaded,” “embrace” and “excited.”
After a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the members of the Carroll County Concert Band will be able to pick up their instruments again and play publicly for the first time this weekend. The concert is set for Sunday at 3 p.m., in the auditorium of Winters Mill High School in Westminster.
