Left-back Tyrone Mings has admitted that he was flattered by Premier League Crystal Palace’s deadline day interest in him, but says he remains focused on helping Town join them in the top flight.
Midfielder Byron Lawrence has joined Colchester United on a one-year deal. The 18-year-old has been on trial with the League One side, Town having made him available on a free transfer.
Blackburn Rovers are reported to have signed Fulham’s Ryan Tunnicliffe on loan, the Blues also having been linked with a move for the midfielder, who spent the first half of last season on loan at Portman Road.
