Maynard voters elected two new School Committee members at the May 8 annual Town Election.
In the only contest, Elizabeth Albota and Hilary Griffiths won their bid for one of the two seats on the School Committee, with 404 and 362 votes respectively, according to unofficial results from the town clerk’s office.
Toni Hammond, who was also vying for a seat on the School Committee, lost her bid, garnering only 205 votes.
Fewer than 550 voters about 6% of Maynard s registered voters cast ballots in the election.

Stow also held its annual Town Election on May 8.
Nancy Arsenault was declared the winner for a seat on the Planning Board with 426 votes. Incumbent challenger Lenny Golder garnered 102 votes, according to Linda Hathaway, town clerk.
