TOMS RIVER, NJ The 2021 Toms River Township municipal budget is scheduled to be introduced Tuesday with no increase in the municipal tax rate, township officials announced Friday.
The proposed budget for 2021 is $135,205,457.25, and includes no tax increase in spite of the pressures from the coronavirus pandemic, officials said. The budget we are introducing is fiscally responsible and meets the needs of our community, Mayor Maurice Hill said in a news release on the budget. Services and amenities will continue to be provided at the same level to our residents. With last year s unanticipated pandemic, we understand the time we are in and glad we can meet the moment with this budget.
