Local business owners have big expectations for upcoming crawfish season COVID impact on crawfish season By Tayler Davis | January 5, 2021 at 9:24 PM CST - Updated January 5 at 9:24 PM
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Lil animals owner Tommy Nard Sr. said they are preparing to order more crawfish this year.
He said last season’s production of crawfish slowed down towards the end of the year. However, despite the pandemic he said being able to sell crawfish has kept their business afloat.
“I could not believe how it did not impact the flow of our business. Our drive-thru was one of the reasons why we were able to sustain our restaurant during the COVID,” he said.
