Each new hire at Isight means another person who can get on the road, get work done, and help grow the company. And those local graduates don’t have far to go to get a well-paying tech job. Of the 23 employees at Isight, 20 are UND grads. Kenville, the majority owner of the company, is also a UND alumnus, as is Nate Leben, a minority owner.

After having taken a hiatus in 2020 because of the pandemic, the East Grand Forks/Grand Forks Chamber hosted its annual Shark Tank event at the Empire Arts Center, on Wednesday, May 5.

IT seems unfair that neither Muhammad Ali or Joe Frazier is still around for the 50th anniversary of their Fight of the Century that took place on March 8, 1971. Had they Ali would be 79, Frazier 77. Of the 20,455 who were in attendance at Madison Square Garden, odds are that only a small percentage are still around. I am one of them having sat up in the rafters in the very last row, Ali’s back to me as he was felled by that Frazier left hook in the final round.
