Franciscan Children’s receives $5M gift

Franciscan Children’s, a leading provider of complex pediatric medical and mental health care and educational services, announced that a $5 million gift to support youth mental health research was made by RoseMary and Dan Fuss to establish the Fuss Family Research Fund at Harvard University.
The fund will promote innovative research aimed at understanding and preventing suicide among youth. This research will be guided by the Nock Laboratory at Harvard University and conducted in collaboration with the Mental Health Research team at Franciscan Children s.
The Fuss Family Research Fund will complement the work of the Tommy Fuss Fund, established in 2007 by the Fuss Family in memory of their son. While the Fuss Family Fund research will focus on improving the knowledge and ability to predict and prevent suicidal thoughts and behaviors in youth, the Tommy Fuss Fund will continue to promote medical research to further
