The Introduction: Off-Season The college football season always takes too long to arrive, and it always ends too soon. When I was a kid, this wasn’t really a problem. I grew up in Ann Arbor loving two sports teams: Michigan football and Red Wings hockey. After the Michigan football season ended, I could simply reroute my attention to the Red Wings, who tended to be blitheringly awesome.
