On a frosty winter morning Tuesday, Tomahawk Elementary School principal Toby Ackerman walked out on the roof of his school dressed as the Elf on the Shelf to greet students and parents as they arrived.Â
This was the second day Ackerman donned his Elf on the Shelf outfit to spread Christmas cheer to students, parents and faculty. On Monday, he sat in a display window near the entrance of the school for the entire time it took for students to arrive. Tomahawk is all about love and respect here and sharing joy and it s just about being that light, Ackerman said.
