Gavin Newsom’s record of mishandling the pandemic. Their problem is they don’t have a leg to stand on. California is one of two states currently with the lowest infection and death rates in the country. Newsom has done a better job than most governors of following the science, making the tough but necessary decisions and drastically bringing down the infection and death rates. California is in a good place relative to most states by restarting schools and opening businesses in a safe way that takes into account the welfare of all
