How much change is what I thought about when I saw Washington Post s food critic Tom Sietsema s story bemoaning Chicago s sudden lack of restaurant critics. The Chicago Tribune s critic retired in January after a 31 year run. A TV journalist also exited his station after 17 years, leaving unmanned a regular Hungry Hound feature on restaurants. Neither has been replaced though the Tribune editors say they are strategizing what happens next. It may include the community in future reviews, the story said.
