INDIANAPOLIS Usually about this time each year, the Indianapolis Colts are joined by the rest of the league at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium to evaluate the best of the best draft-eligible prospects at the NFL Scouting Combine.
But, if we ve learned anything in the past year, it s that expecting the usual, at least for now, just isn t going to be in the cards. As such, the league decided to cancel this year s Combine due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The 8th annual Harris 100 is complete, well, at least version 1.0 of a possible three versions/updates that will occur this offseason. I started on this draft class back as far back as the spring of 2019, nearly two full years ago and yet, per usual, I also feel like I m missing something when I complete the initial Harris 100. Now, I submitted the Harris 100 around lunch time on Friday morning and I haven t had a pang of regret yet. That s a new record, really. What it means is that I ve always hit send on the initial Harris 100 and immediately went, no, that s not right on that guy or I should ve ranked that guy higher. That hasn t happened.yet, but it will. That s what this process is all about.
According to multiple sources, the Indianapolis Colts are hiring former Maryland offensive coordinator Scottie Montgomery as the team’s new running backs coach replacing recently retired running.

Correction: If you’re a 49ers’ fan, you gotta love him. The team’s former owner, he hired Hall-of-Fame coach Bill Walsh, assembled a front office that built a dynasty and delivered five Lombardi Trophies to San Francisco between 1981 and 1994 – including four in a span of nine seasons.
But DeBartolo was as demanding as he was successful. He expected to win, and he wasn’t afraid to say so.
Report: Texans Expected to Hire Colts Assistant Special Teams Coach Frank Ross
According to NFL Network’s
Tom Pelissero, the Houston Texans are expected to hire Frank Ross as their new special teams coordinator:

Ross just finished his 3rd season as the Colts assistant special teams coach, having previously had 5 years of NFL experience in player personnel with the New England Patriots (2011-12, 2015-17). He coached two seasons at his alma mater, John Carroll University (‘10).
