SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The American Legion Post 795 hosted a memorial event to honor those who passed away in the 2001 September 11 attacks. The Legion’s Post Commander, Tom Millham, recounted the clock.
Larry Reid was a member of the American Legion Post 795 in South Lake Tahoe. Born in Mason City, Iowa, Larry and his family moved to Oakland, Calif. in 1939 and then to Richmond, Calif. in 1942. Larry graduated from Richmond Union High in 1952.
