I was waiting at gulph mills, train came by and blew pennsylvania us three or four train lengths, and stopped, backed up, picked us up, and same thing happened at bryn mawr. Drove pennsylvania, backed up, and i was talking to the guy at gulph mills and said that is not right it never passes like that. I said something wrong. I almost waited for next train and we got to the terminal. I stood up to get off and get ready to get to my bus on time and smacked. Reporter thats right. There were four critically injured passengers. One was brought here to the presbyterian hospital. Some of them suffered the worst injuries from this crash. Three others severely injured are being treated down the street at another hospital. A total of 42 people were on board the train that crashed. Thats including the operator. All 42 people on board reported an injury. Four were critically injured. As for the rest of the passengers, they were treated at the scene or taken to nearby hospitals, which include delaware memorial hospital, mercy fitzgerald, springfield, anne taylor hospital. Upper darbys mayor said at the scene that the initial response was very strong. About 20 ambulances were dispatched to the 69th Street Transportation Center where they treated people at the scene, ems treated people at the scene, or people were taken to various hospitals.
