Under Republican Leadership, republican house, senate, and governor, just look at the benefits. Our unemployment under 5 . When is the last time you could talk to one of your kids about unemployment being under 5 in michigan. Ottawa county, where i represent, 2. 9 . They cant find people to do the work. Were turning the state around. It takes a lot of effort and a lot of time and Republican Leadership. The state gained more private sector jobs than any other great lakes state, over 400,000. That is not what, we dont create jobs. We just set the atmosphere
Your folks from michigan. I want to tell you that i wanted to be here today because i had such a great time being in michigan. It started in, i dont remember if it was a Shopping Center in detroit. I remember walking in and the place was absolutelyjampacked. And everybody was so nice and you know, theres that thing, what is it . Michigan nice is maybe what they say . I knew a little bit about michigan but i never really spent a lot of time in michigan and i have just absolutely fallen in love with your communities and with your folks and i asked them you know, i was in what is it . Grand valley peak . This was with all those students in an unbelievable experience at grand valley. And then i went to lansing and we had the most Incredible Group of young people. Look, i want you all to understand something particularly when im with the young people. Folks, i dont want anything. Ive had an unbelievable career.
