Here is how it will take place. 9 30 this morning. The senate will join its session after a leader remarked. The debate will begin on the confirmation of Loretta Lynch. A two hour debate is expected around 11 45. Motion to invoke cloture will be held. If it is invoked, there will be two hours of closed debate and the confirmation vote could come as early as 2 00 p. M. This afternoon for both the final vote and the cloture motion. Loretta lynch would only require a simple majority of those votin g to vote for her. Due to the Nuclear Option that was invented 2013 by democrats on president ial nominees. That nomination revoked after republicans took over the senate chamber.
