Castore, the sportswear brand, which recently sold a £145 million stake to venture capital investors, is challenging powerhouses such as Nike and Adidas
Following news that British athleisure brand Castore secured a cash injection of £150m, Drapers asked co-founder Tom Beahon what he will be spending the money on.
Sportswear brand Castore opened its first store in London’s Chelsea in 2019. In the past year, it has launched more than 25 retail sites across the UK, Europe and Dubai, while earlier this month it revealed plans to open shops in Dublin and Kent's Bluewater shopping centre. Co-founder Tom Beahon tells Drapers why bricks and mortar expansion is key to his brand’s growth.
