Cult hero Jazz Tevaga has signed a new contract that will keep him with the New Zealand Warriors until the end of 2023.
A Samoan international representative, Tevaga has played his entire NRL career to date with the Warriors and says he is pleased to have recommitted to the club.
“I always wanted to stay here. I love the club and I love where we’re headed,” the 25-year old said on Thursday.
“Jazz has been really consistent in his training and the way he has played this season,” added Warriors coach Nathan Brown.

Second half
40th minute - Parker takes the last tackle and the siren sounds on a Manly win, but an incredible game.
39th minute - Tevaga crosses halfway on the second tackle. On the last, Harris-Tavita kicks high to the posts, the ball bounces back to the Warriors and when it goes left, Maumalo is dragged into touch just short of the line.
So close! That gives the win to Manly.

George Jennings scored against his old club to give the Storm the early lead in Melbourne, but then left the game after failing a HIA. But the changes didn’t stop there, with Bayley Sironen playing at halfback, in place of Sean O’Sullivan and Jack Murchie was moved from centre into the second row. Some changes were forced, but some seemed like Warriors coach Nathan Brown rolling the dice and hoping it would pay off. It didn’t. Walsh showed he’s someone with class and had some wonderful touches, but he had a shaky start, getting caught out with a bomb that landed just in front of him and bounced towards the Warriors’ line, although nothing come of it.
