NEW details of revamped plans for a £65 million retail, leisure and business development which will create 880 jobs have been revealed. Tollgate Partnership Limited has launched a consultation website for the latest proposals for its Tollgate Village development in Stanway. It features a series of CGI images of the proposed development produced by architects Corstorphine + Wright. These are illustrative at this stage and the developer says the plans could change after public feedback. Residents are being invited to share their thoughts on the proposals for scheme, which is set to be split into four development zones. The first, the old Sainsbury’s site, will feature 13,000 sqm of retail and leisure floorspace, an eight-screen cinema set to be run by The Light, a bowling alley, restaurants, parking and public realm improvements.
