Lewis and Clark Community College will host a community E-Waste drive Friday and Saturday. From 9am until noon both days, you can bring almost anything with a cord to the Tolle Lane parking lot across from the Lewis & Clark Godfrey Campus and dispose of it for free.

Basically, most anything that has a cord or batteries can be e-cycled. Pandemic health precautions are still in effect, including masking up and staying in your vehicle during drop-off. For more information you can contact Keener by calling 468-2782.
Godfrey plans June 1 TIF II discussion

GODFREY Village board members on Monday discussed a second tax financing district (TIF) for Godfrey.
In a unanimous vote, the board approved an ordinance that will set a public hearing for the TIF II redevelopment plan and project for 5:30 p.m. June 1 at the Godfrey Village Hall.
The area would encompasses 18 parcels south of Tolle Lane and east of Godfrey Road. The new district would also encompass a mulch plant and much of the land south of it.

Approved participating in the 2021 Green Cities Challenge sponsored by Missouri Botanical Gardens Eartway Center with the $350 entry fee to be paid by Madison County Resource Management.
