World number one Elavenil Valarivan s inclusion in a 15-member Indian shooting contingent for the Tokyo Olympics at the expense of quota winner Chinki Yadav, who had claimed a gold in the Delhi World Cup last month, was the big talking point after the National Rifle Association of India announced the squad on Sunday.

Murali Shreeshankar a student from KIIT university and Bhavani Devi an Alumnus from Kendriya Vidyalaya qualified for Olympics 2021 Scheduled to be held in Tokyo. KIIT student and KVS alumnus qualified for Tokyo Olympics. 
Murali Shreeshankar is an Athlete and a Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) alumnus, along with Bhavani Devi a fencer, student of the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, have qualified for the upcoming Tokyo Olympic games.
Murali Sreeshankar, graduated from KV Kanjikode in 2017 and will represent India in the long jump event in the upcoming Olympics. His national record of 8.26 meters is recorded at the Federation Cup, as the Sports Authority of India said.

India s international sabre fencer Bhavani Devi has qualified for the Tokyo Olympics starting July 23 by virtue of improving her world ranking to 42, confirmed the Fencing Association of India.
The 27-year-old from Chennai is the first Indian fencer ever to make the cut for the Olympics. She qualified for the Games at the Budapest World Cup, an Olympic qualifying competition, on Sunday.
