Comments The remains of Noxolo Mdluli and Felicia Shabangu were sent to the Netherlands for forensic tests after they were found buried in a yard, along with three others.
THE families of two women whose remains were taken to the Netherlands for forensic testing say their only hope for closure lies with the government.
Noxolo Mdluli (19) and Felicia Shabangu (17) were among five girls who were kidnapped, raped and murdered in Masoyi, Mpumalanga.
Their remains were found buried in Julius Mndawe’s yard in 2019.
The remains of the girls were taken to the Netherlands for forensic tests after a local lab failed to determine their DNA.
