Investigators searched his phone and found there were numerous conversations between him and others related to Bedford purchasing drugs, the majority of which were for methamphetamine, police said.
Police found that Bedford met Penn to purchase drugs from him at a motel in Quakertown on March 13, charging documents allege. Penn had sold him drugs six times that week, according to authorities.
Charges were filed in late December. Around that same time, Penn was sentenced to 9 to 23 months in Lehigh County Prison for drug possession with intent to deliver, according to court records.
A message left for his attorney seeking comment was not immediately returned Monday afternoon.
