STONINGTON A New London man has been identified by police as the person killed in a chainsaw accident in Mystic over the weekend.
The victim was identified Monday as 63-year-old Alan McConnell, of Colman Street in New London, Capt. Todd M. Olson said.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family,” Olson said.
Stonington police were called to a home on the 20th block of Rossie Street in Mystic just after 1 p.m. Saturday for a report of a chainsaw accident “with CPR in progress,” police said.
