The round was led by North Coast Ventures, with participation from JumpStart Inc. and other Cleveland-based investors. Unify Jobs, which decribes itself as an 'equitable hiring technology company,' is a spinoff of Unify Labs, a nonprofit founded in 2017 by Stephen McHale, Charlie Lougheed and Jim Hickey.

The Cleveland firm, which is developing a next-generation platform for investing and trading, said the round included participation from local investors JumpStart Ventures and North Coast Ventures. The round was led by Aperture Venture Capital of Philadelphia.
The firm, an accountable care organization that last year acquired Cleveland software/patient communication company MedPilot and maintains a 20-employee office here, said Monday, April 11, that the financing round was led by Enhanced Health Care Partners and was joined by existing investors including NorthCoast Ventures.
