Cypress Development Provides Update on Pilot Plant and Lithium Extraction Process for Clayton Valley Lithium Project, Nevada

Cypress Development Corp: Cypress Development Announces Further Advancement in Chloride Leaching for Clayton Valley Lithium Project in Nevada

Cypress Development Corp: Cypress Development Announces Further Advancement in Chloride Leaching for Clayton Valley Lithium Project in Nevada Cypress Development Corp. ( rdand 16 th2020 news releases, the Company initiated an investigation into chloride-based leaching and the potential economic and environmental benefits over sulfide-based leaching. Progress to date indicates a positive alternative to a sulfate-based approach and merits consideration for the Company s upcoming pilot plant program. Test work completed on 200- to 400-g samples of claystone used hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sodium chloride (NaCl) brine as the leach solution. Test results from this work determined the optimum parameters for leaching temperature, acid strength, and retention time. The data were used to conduct a test on a 33 kg sample of claystone which yielded greater than 81% extraction of the lithium into solution. The Company identifies this as a starting point for the pilot plant program to expand

Cypress Development Reports Further Positive Metallurgical Results from Clayton Valley Lithium Project in Nevada

Cypress Development Reports Further Positive Metallurgical Results from Clayton Valley Lithium Project in Nevada VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 24, 2020 Cypress Development Corp. ( Frankfurt: C1Z1) (“Cypress” or “the Company”) reports the completion of additional metallurgical testing following the positive Prefeasibility Study (PFS) published on the Company’s 100%-owned Clayton Valley Lithium Project in Nevada, USA. The testing was conducted at Continental Metallurgical Services in Montana and NORAM Engineering in British Columbia, in preparation for the Company’s pilot plant program as outlined in the PFS. Highlights Testing resulted in 80.2% extraction of lithium when a sodium chloride solution was used instead of distilled water in leaching claystone under Cypress’ sulfuric acid leach process.

Cypress Development Completes First Step in Chloride Leaching Study for Clayton Valley Lithium Project in Nevada - Press Release

Frankfurt: C1Z1) (“Cypress” or “the Company”) is pleased to report the first stage in the scoping level study into the extraction of lithium using chloride-based leaching is completed. This work consisted of preparation and acid leaching of a large sample from the Company’s Clayton Valley Lithium Project and was accomplished at Continental Metallurgical Services Inc. (CMS) in Butte, Montana. Samples of the leach solution and the initial and final solids were shipped for assay. The remaining steps of testing will focus on the treatment of the leach solutions and are expected to be completed by month end. Sample Selection GCH-08
