SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) So far the coronavirus vaccination process has been going very well according to top health officials in Sioux Falls.
In an interview with KELO radios’ Bill Zortman, Avera chief medical officer Dr. Kevin Post stated that residents should also be ready to be contacted by the health system for their own inoculations.
“I do think it’s important for the public to know they will be getting contacted by their health systems and providers when the time does come,” said Post.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) The City of Sioux Falls has declared a snow emergency.
It began at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Below is the news release from the City with the battle plan to fight the snow over the next few days.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: The Public Works Street Division has declared a snow alert beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29. Plowing of emergency snow routes began Tuesday, December 29, 2020, and will continue until routes are clear. All vehicles parked on emergency snow routes are subject to ticketing and towing.
