A blocking  Upper Level High Pressure Ridge ( Arch shape) sitting over us has taken over bringing a heat wave. Low Pressure to our east is pushing against the ridge The graphics for days 1-3  show system, show no frontal systems approaching the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7  Thursday through next Monday show a quiet weather pattern with a complex frontal system lingering offshore Thursday and then pushing through Oregon next Friday through Sunday. Note: Sunday was a hot one. Record high 94 for Eugene and 95 for North Bend. Today Eugene hit another record high 89.
