Preparations underway to reopen the inside of the Stanford Arms, ready for this evening.
- Credit: Jasper King I think the biggest change for us will come around in June when we no longer do table service because this is quite a labour intensive process. Capacity inside is reduced to abide by social distancing measures and to ensure we can manage it all.
Cinemas are also welcoming film goers back to the big screens.
Michael Hansell, director of East Coast Cinema, said he has noticed an increase in bookings to watch films at the cinema in comparison to when they reopened in December.
The pub has a great selection of real ales and craft beers.

Mr Burke says the response from the community to the opening has been second to none.
He said: We have been blown away by support and positive comments. We know this pub had a big following before and the buzz around town over us taking it on has been great.

In a few weeks the pub will start offering special pizza offerings and plans are in place for the BBQ to continue.

The boys couldn t be more excited to get The Stanford Arms up and running after three successful years on Norwich Market

A swanky off licence on Norwich market has added a beautifully maintained coastal pub to its portfolio - and can t wait to welcome its first customers next Friday.
Toby Westgarth and Dominic Burke, co-owners of Sir Toby s Beers, announced on Thursday they had taken over The Stanford Arms in Lowestoft after the previous landlord decided not to renew his lease.
For three years, the duo have run a takeaway beer stall, or what Mr Westgarth terms a swanky off-licence , on Norwich market selling independent and local craft beers and ales. But it was their dream to offer people a sit down pint .
