LOOP - Charles Douglas Floyd 'aka Jimmy Ringo from Quitaque, 87, a lifelong resident of Loop passed away on January 26, 2024. Celebration of life was held at the First United Methodist Church in Seagraves at 11:00 a.m. on January 29, 2024, with Beverly Titus officiating. Graveside services followed at the Loop Cemetery in Loop. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Ratliff Funeral Home in Seagraves. Douglas was born to Doyle and Renee Floyd on December 4, 1936, in Afton. He moved to Loop in 1941 and grew up on the family farm. Douglas graduated Loop High School in 1956. He was an outstanding football and basketball player. He started as a freshman on both teams. He had a mean jump shot in basketball and the quickest and toughest one on the football field.
