Shortly after, in August 2009, Café Chew opened its doors in Merchant Square. The breakfast-and-lunch shop has since operated with ordering and pickup at the counter. Customers carry their food to tables inside or eat in one of the two patios flanking the post-and-beam restaurant across from the post office. Just a few weeks ago, the shop put up new table umbrellas, creating a wave of blue at 4 Merchants Road.
