(WSFA) - Two people are dead after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said in a release. According to Trooper Joel Hart, the crash happened around 10:55 p.m. in the area of Chapel Road near Luther Street, five miles west of Wetumpka. Tobaius D. George, 28 of Wetumpka, and Miracle D. Johnson, 19 of Wetumpka, were killed in the crash. Hart says George was driving a 2007 Hyundai Sonata when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned before catching fire. Johnson, who was not using a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

George was driving a 2007 Hyundai Sonata that left the road, struck a tree and overturned before catching fire. Johnson, the passenger, was not using a seat belt and was ejected. Both were pronounced dead on the scene.
