SINGAPORE - The number of Covid-19 cases linked to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) cluster has grown to 16 as at Saturday (May 1).
The cluster emerged following the diagnosis on Tuesday (April 27) of a nurse who works in a general ward.
Here s what we know so far about Singapore s first Covid-19 hospital cluster.
1. When were the cases detected?
A fully-vaccinated nurse from TTSHtested positive for Covid-19 on April 27. The 46-year-old Filipino woman developed a cough, sore throat and body aches, and sought medical treatment at TTSH.
She was deployed at Ward 9D, a general ward.
2. Who are among those affected?
SINGAPORE - All public places visited by people with Covid-19 in the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) cluster while they were infectious will be closed for two days for deep cleaning.
In addition, individuals who had been at those places at the same time should get tested for the virus, which will be free for them, said the authorities on Friday (April 30).
The closures – which include food and beverage outlets as well as places of worship that the infected individuals visited from April 15 to 27 – are meant to reduce the spread of the coronavirus from undetected cases in the community, said the Health Ministry.

SINGAPORE: Shopping mall Causeway Point and Woodlands North Plaza were on Friday (Apr 30) added to the Ministry of Health s (MOH) list of public places visited by COVID-19 community cases during their infectious period.
Also on the list is a Sheng Siong supermarket on Geylang Road and the Prime supermarket at Block 768 Woodlands Avenue 6.

Additional locations within VivoCity and E!Hub @ Downtown East, which were added to the list on Thursday, were also visited by community cases.
