todd: is climate change saving lives? a new op-ed is taking a different approach to global warming arguing cold temperatures are more dangerous. the author of that op-ed, hoover institution visiting fellow joins me live to explain. that title sure to throw the green new dealers into a to z. how did you reach that conclusion? it is not my conclusion. it is a study that shows heat kills but cold kills too, cold kills a lot more, globally we estimate 67,000 people die of heat but 4.5 million people die each year from cold. they have looked at the temperature increase of the last 20 years and said what has that done? increased heat death as you expect, 160,000, 116,000, that is a problem.
