The Samoa government has commissioned two new roads at Salamumu and Fagali'i-Uta at a total cost of SAT$2.5 million with officials and villagers witnessing the occasion.The official opening of the two new roads was done on Friday afternoon with the Minister for Works, Transport and Infrastructure.
The demolition of the old Savalalo flea market, which is being undertaken by a local company, is close to completion before it will move to the construction phase. The demolition of the old market and the re-development of the Savalalo market come under the supervision of the Samoa Land Corporati.
