Time to lift restrictions at Port Canaveral and get back to business

Right here in Brevard County at our Port Canaveral, one of the great economic tragedies of the pandemic is ongoing.   For years, Port Canaveral has been a shining beacon of economic opportunity, but due to pandemic protocols, blanket mandates and failure to act it has been reduced to a hole in the water. Florida needs to invest in restarting our ports or we are in danger of losing human resource talent, physical and financial resources and more precious time. Investment starts with the $258 million Governor Ron DeSantis has promised to our Florida Ports.  This money will go towards keeping security around our ports of entry into the United States.
