so much yesterday? the brits were embarrassed by the fact that they allowed through various back channels the man to go back to libya because he was on death s door. the man is still alive living in peaceful retirement. this has embarrassed the british government and caused fishers between london and washington. this is his chance to rectify that record. all right. good to have you here. thank you. if it s tuesday, somebody is voting somewhere and today to my hometown in florida. a special election to replace congresswoman fredricka wilson. she s best known in washington for her affinity for hats. she won meeks seat last november. well oscar branyon and joe celestin are trying to replace her. it appears that celestin and
you should had you won over marco rubio and meeks, you would caucus with the democrats. are you a democrat now? i did not say that. it s all academic now. i would have asked who is stronger at providing new jobs, helping with the economy had i won, i would have asked those questions, determined the answers and then made a decision. let s get to the tea party. marco rubio a powerful guy in the tea party. will the tea party need to come to the middle or the moderates and republican party need to go left for it to be successful? you have to find common ground to be successful. this is a business where majority is important. unless common ground can be
this is probably the most difficult year to be an incumbent and most of them are going to get reelected. and yet, if they were, if the incouple bent were doing a good job, wouldn t it be easier. that is kind of to me a bogus poll at 8%, and 90% of these people will get reelected, i mean, and most people would say, yeah, congressman smith, i like him or her and so on. and the others. and exactly. so, i think that, the better way of indicating public dissatisfaction is the right track, wrong track question or the obama s approval rating, but that question is kind of a setup for and all right. there s a florida congressman hendrick meek who wants to become senator from that state and made a lot of headlines when it was reported, reported that president clinton, former president clinton tried to push him out of the race. meek s campaign sort of denied it. meeks himself appeared on fox & friends and said we really didn t have that conversation, but talk about the overall covera
i think in this distance, the media really fell down on the job. we had that moment to moment story. we had the report on clinton that he had done this. we had the denial and then now it seems he did do it, he did try and meeks agreed and changed his mind. where was the analysis, where was the overall analysis that told us why is bill clinton doing this? is it doing it at the behest of the white house? is it doing it because he s more popular than barack obama. no analysis and the same thing with the cash, karzai and no follow-up by the media. the media is waiting to find out if expresident, george w. bush asked a black american to withdraw from the race and to help a white candidates that didn t happen, no coverage at all. this is not a race story, this is a it s a republican-democrat story. it s a political what happens when you get three people in a race, a lot
have, you know, the voice mail, i don t think, is as bad as actually the maneuvering on the democratic side finding 0 ut that bill clinton behind the scenes was trying to get him to drop outment because of course, you know, meeks is the only, i think the only african-american democrat who is running in a state wide race this year and you know, to try to get him to get out of the race to back up somebody like charlie crist, i think, looks really bad. there s something else to this and there s some thoughts to so-called democratic insiders who know florida well, that this story coming out when it did, knowing that the white house came out and side they knew about this whole deal that could happen, gives a nod, an ink with and nod to othand wink and a nod for others voters to abandon meek and vote crist. it s a fair indielt. democrat. we know that charlie crist
