Rotary Club s Ugandan student is flourishing at Kira Farm

The Club’s nominated student, Sarah Aloyojok, has now resumed her studies and work there 13 May 2021 By Tiverton Rotary Club Tiverton’s Rotary Club has, for a number of years, under the lead of Rotarian Ken Blyth, sponsored a student from an underprivileged or difficult family background to spend almost a year at Kira Farm, just outside Kampala in Uganda. There up to 50 young people each year, equally divided between male and female, learn two vocational skills which enable them to return to their villages where the majority start new businesses, thus creating employment, or become mainstays in their community.
