Punch Newspapers Sections Godwin Isenyo, Kaduna FOUR persons, including an unidentified herdsman, were killed in another bout of reprisal on four villages in Zango-Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Saturday. The four villages attacked by gunmen are Ungwan Gaiya, Ungwan Gimba, Ungwan Makama and Apimbu The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, said in a statement on Sunday. The government statement is titled, ‘Four killed in further reprisal, as more troops are deployed in flashpoints…El-Rufai reiterates stand on recourse to the law’. Between Thursday night and Saturday night, no fewer than 14 persons were killed by gunmen in three local government areas of the state; Zango-Kataf, Kauru and Lere. Scores of villagers were injured and receiving medical attention in hospitals while several houses were razed.
