The mobster accused of planning the lufthansa heist has been acquitted acquitted. 80yearold Vincent Asaro walked out a free man after a jury found him not guilty. The heist happened in 1978 when armed thieves made off with 6 million at kennedy airport. At the time, it was the largest robbery in u. S. History. Dari police have arrested a suspect in that Fatal Shooting near penn station earlier this week. 27yearold Vincent Arcona was taken into custody after checking into a bronx hospital under a fake name. He is accused of luring three men inside of the stairwell of a subway station at west 34th and 8th avenue. Another man reportedly opened fire, killing one of the victims and injuring the other two. That shooting is said to be drugrelated. Charges against arcona are pending. Police are still looking for the other suspect. Steve a sombe
