the chancellor says he s apall bid images of the protestors after convening with cans lors from 10 campuses he ordered a thorough investigation of police training on the use of force. thank you very much. there are no more tents by oakland city hall or parks but protestors say it won t be that way for long. demonstrators gathering for a general assembly in about an hour from now. and they plan to regroup and discuss nalt tiff options for a new encampment. and shop keepers hope it will boost holiday traffic. we like to see confidence incoming to downtown oakland. i think problems cast a negative light on oakland. some business owners advertised as a tourist attraction. but police cleared last-remaining camp at snow park this morning. and mayor ed lee continues to take a measure add approach in fran fran san francisco. and lee wants to exhaust all possibilities for roo moving the camp before actually dismantling it. the mayor did order police to remove tents yesterday b
good evening. and we begin here this sunday night with those images that have two police officers under increasing scrutiny tonight after unleashing pepper spray straight into the faces of some of those occupy wall street protesters. take a look as police take aim at demonstrators, dousing them square in the face with pepper spray, in images racing across the internet and stoking new anger. tonight, two officers are facing consequences and the university chancellor is herself under fire. we begin here with abc s bazi kanani. reporter: if the point of a protest is to draw attention the whole world is watching. reporter: this one worked. by drawing outrage. i felt like my face was peeling off. reporter: campus police at uc-davis fired pepper spray directly into the faces of passive occupy protesters who refused to move after being warned by police. i received a direct shot of pepper spray down my throat. i spent the next hour dry heaving and vomiting. reporter
