good evening. and we begin here this sunday night with those images that have two police officers under increasing scrutiny tonight after unleashing pepper spray straight into the faces of some of those occupy wall street protesters. take a look as police take aim at demonstrators, dousing them square in the face with pepper spray, in images racing across the internet and stoking new anger. tonight, two officers are facing consequences and the university chancellor is herself under fire. we begin here with abc s bazi kanani. reporter: if the point of a protest is to draw attention the whole world is watching. reporter: this one worked. by drawing outrage. i felt like my face was peeling off. reporter: campus police at uc-davis fired pepper spray directly into the faces of passive occupy protesters who refused to move after being warned by police. i received a direct shot of pepper spray down my throat. i spent the next hour dry heaving and vomiting. reporter
