ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Ohio State scored five unanswered runs to come back and beat Michigan 7-4 in game one of a huge weekend series in Ann Arbor on Friday afternoon.
The Buckeyes slugged 13 hits on their way to a fifth consecutive victory. OSU is now 13-7 on the season and pull even with Michigan for second place in the Big Ten standings.
“We’ve got some tough guys that just keep battling,” said Brent Todys. “We’re never going to be the team that just goes away. 1-9 we have guys that can get a big hit. We kept fighting today and we’re having some fun right now.”
