I love a good charcuterie and cheese board….But, I have to say my wife makes some really good sandwiches LOL.
What’s your guilty (food) pleasure?
Juicy cheeseburger, homemade bun, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles. My daughter loves it too.
What’s your favorite flavor combination?
I love to play around with flavors and textures. I don’t like food with just one note in your palate from start to finish. A bit of smoke, with a note of heat with some sweetness and freshness to it. For example, for Thanksgiving, we did a roasted butternut squash soup with cilantro cream, toasted pepitas and chili oil; salted caramel pumpkin tart; and prosciutto wrapped turkey roulade stuffed with collard greens, apricots, shallots, finished with a cranberry beurre blanc.
