I am at the citys largest shelter where at last count more than 8,000 people are here sleeping, seeking refuge. Weve walked around here. People are sleeping under these bright fluorescent lights, packed in room after room. You see here all the donations that have come in on one side of your screen. Volunteers are sifting through all the clothes trying to get them sorted into the right sizes to help people here who are going to need help for a very long time.
