ukrainians saying at least four missile strikes really rocking this region this morning. what do officials think that the thinking is by the russian forces here? because even though there have been not many but there have been occasional missile strikes there, they have been on infrastructure that either serves or contributes to the military. and obviously a tire repair shop, the fact that a child is a casualty. this is a different thing. reporter: right. 100%. earlier this morning, we did get word from that leave regional officials that three of the targets did have something to do with military infrastructure. they walked that back during this last press conference saying three of the four targets were just warehouses. still, this fourth one being a tire repair shop, that is very significant. it is clearly showing a message to people here, even though lviv is far away from the fighting, has not seen the violence we have seen in other parts of ukraine, clearly the message
to get their water out of the river. reporter: i m matt rivers in lviv, ukraine, where ukrainian officials said monday morning russian missiles had struck four different sites across the city of lviv. officials said that three of those sites that were struck were varying warehouses. the fourth was a tire repair shop. as for casualties, the numbers could certainly change. at least seven people reported killed across all four missile strike sites and 11 injured, including three critically, four injured coming from the tire repair shop. it has been several weeks since the region of lviv have been hit by missile strikes. ukrainian president volodymyr zelenskyy spoke to jake tapper on state of the union interview and why he believes a lesson of the holocaust has not been learned. you lost ancestors in the
strikes, according to the ukrainians around 8:00 a.m. here more or less in local time. we just got a briefing from ukrainian officials here in charge of the lviv region. and what we ve been told is at least three of the strikes were targeting warehouses. and the fourth, which is a scene we just came from, was a tire repair shop. so this is clearly just a civilian area where not broadcasting from that site because restrictions knoll not allow us to broadcast live from that site as of yet. we know at least seven people have been killed across the four different sites according to regional officials. and 11 injured, three of whom are critical. this is the first time we have seen scenes like this in multiple weeks here in lviv. the russians tried again with
