A few minutes after the end of the press conference of the State Election Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi, comes the reaction of the US Ambassador to Tirana Yuri Kim.
Through a post on Twitter, the American diplomat reiterates that the US supports the CEC for a free, democratic and transparent electoral process.
“
I just saw the press conference of @ICelibashi. It is good to hear that the ballots have been agreed so that they can be printed in time for the April 25 elections.
We strongly support the CEC in its efforts to ensure that the rules and conditions of the elections are fair, timely and transparent,” Kim wrote.
