In an exclusive for the heating industry, Vaillant is is joining forces with environmental charity, Earthwatch Europe, to expand its Tiny Forest initiative in the UK.
The programme aims to plant Tiny Forests in urban areas where access for local communities to verdant green spaces is limited or non-existent. Together they will create beautiful and accessible green spaces in built-up, urban environments, which can be enjoyed by local residents, schools, communities and organisations long-term.

Doing a lot in a small amount of space has been the MINI motto from the get go. Now the company is looking to support small initiatives all around the UK, starting with Tiny Forest. The announcement was made today and the work is being done by MINI in collaboration with Earthwatch Europe. The goal of the initiative is to increase the amount of green spaces and biodiversity inside urban areas.
In order to do that, actual tiny forests are to be planted in various locations, MINI already funding and planting its first one, near one of their production sites, in Swindon, England. The next MINI Tiny Forest will be planted near the home of the MINI Plant in Oxford in 2022.

Tiny forrest project to have huge impact for kids in Glasgow AN East End community is now home to Scotland’s first Tiny Forest – one of a dozen around the UK bringing green benefits to deprived areas. Sited on Avenue End Road in Easterhouse, the forest is no bigger than a tennis court but organisers promising significant boosts from the scheme. It forms part of Earthwatch Europe’s scheme to plant hundreds of Tiny Forests across urban areas of the UK by 2023.
