Christmas Cheer delivers the goods to Brownstown area residents

Thanks to a charitable organization that has been in place for decades, more families within the Brownstown Central Community School Corp. district will be able to have a merry Christmas this year.
Brownstown Christmas Cheer consists of volunteers from the community distributing food to families in need during the holidays. It’s accomplished through a partnership with faculty and students from Brownstown Central Community School Corp.
The organization has been in existence for close to 50 years, longtime organizer Gloria Cross said Friday morning as she and other volunteers put together gift baskets of canned goods, flour, cake mixes, sauces, stuffing mixes and other food items.
