Now, the nasdaq says that this time it appears the problem was a back end server failure and that the backup system did kick in. It took about six minutes. Youll recall back on august 22nd it took about 30 minutes for them to get the system back up and running and figure out what the problem was. Back then the issue was a software glitch.
