Several towns over the past month have acted as couriers for letters to Santa â a tradition that even a pandemic couldnât hinder.
While many of the letters were typical of those sent in years past â asking Santa for the newest toys, gadgets, and clothing â some letters reflected the hard times that many families faced in 2020, according to staff in local towns who handle the letters for Santa.
Wendy Knowles, director of youth services in Windsor Locks, said the town received 50 letters to send on to Santa, and due to the tumultuous year, letters were much different this year.
âI know that I havenât been the best this year, but all I want is to be TikTok famous so I can donate money,â Connor wrote.
